Parmesan Chicken

Perfect quick dinner!

Original Recipe-Betty Crocker

Ingredients-
1 tablespoon canola or vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped (I used a garlic press)
2 cups marinara sauce ( I like Bertolli's)
2 cups water
1 package (9 oz) refrigerated fettuccine
1 bag (12 oz) frozen green beans (thaw these)
2 cups cubed cooked chicken
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese ( I used a ton lol more than a cup I think)

Directions-
1. In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add garlic; cook about 30 seconds, stirring occasionally, until softened. Stir in marinara sauce and water. Cover; heat to boiling over medium heat.
2. Add fettuccine and green beans; stir to separate fettuccine. Return to boiling; cover and boil 3 to 5 minutes or until beans are tender.
3. Stir in chicken. Cook 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until chicken is heated.
4.Remove from heat. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover; let stand 2 minutes to melt cheese

**My thoughts**
This was pretty good and fairly painless to make. Cook the chicken ahead to save your self some time.

Also instead of greenbeans you could add so many things to make this delicious. Next time around I am going to skip the beans and add green, red, & yellow bell peppers. Also go crazy with whatever your tastes are. This is really such a good recipe to play around with.

My husband gave this a great review. I thought it was pretty good as well. Salad and garlic bread pairs well with this.
